I don't think I will have to replace these. Very heavyBought these as replacements for some hangers on a 25+ year old rainbow play system. They do no glide nearly as well as the rainbow ones, there is too much clearance in the bearings. These are not well made.I decided to build my own swing set for my autistic 4 year old using the 123 easy eastern jungle gym brackets I bought on Amazon as well. It turned out really well! I already had one platform swing with some swing ties that I used in a tree at our old home but I bought a new half bucket swing for this project and needed hardware to hang it with so I bought this kit. It is great! I LOVE that it came with EVERYTHING you need to hang a swing, including wonderfully detailed instructions and the right size drill bit so you don't have to guess or buy one! Plus the actual hangers themselves are about as heavy duty as you could possibly hope for. My 220 pound husband hung/swung from the chains before we attached the swing just to make sure they were sturdy and they didn't budge even the tiniest bit! We attached these to a 10' 4x6 pressure treated cross beam.Probably the only thing that I don't absolutely love about it is that is has the rotating hangers. The ones I got make some noise. Maybe they just need to be oiled with some WD40 but I would prefer that the hangers just be static and not have moving parts. I feel like it creates unnecessary additional friction. That being said the swing I hung with them swings smoothly and is VERY sturdy and secure and my son loves it (and he swings a LOT)!If you're interested in what I built and how I built it check out my review on the 123 Easy Jungle Gym bracket kit. Great for swing set.I could have spent $20 on a set of hangers that held 30 lbs, but with a 25 lb baby that seemed short sighted. I spent a little more and got a system I would trust to hold my full weight. I love that we can switch our son's swing in the 2 directions depending on time of day, and we can upgrade him to larger swings as he grows - eventually an adult one! We live in Minnesota so seeing how it handles winter will be interesting but fingers crossed we can swing under the deck all year long!This things seem solid, but I have two minor complaints: I bought this package complete with the drill, so I did not have to worry in case it comes with weird screw dimensions. The included drill is so bad, I gave up immediately and took one of the drills I had at home. While the included drill did not even drill the first mm in wood, mine drilled like through butter. So the included drill is absolutely useless, but the instructions say not to use a different drill of larger size (which I now had to use). I am not concerned about the larger size, as I tested whether this holds and one side will carry my complete family. The second thing I do not like is that the bushing is much larger size then required for the bolts, so the bushing wobbles around on the bolts and is not snug. Gives you a low quality impression. This is probably not really an issue, but not comparable to my previous construction, where I used sealed industrial ball bearings for my kids swings.Opened these things and they are absolutely massive. My daughter weighs less than 20 pounds as a 1 year old and I think these things would probably hold a wrecking ball or a dump truck from the crossbeams on my deck. Giant lag bolts are easy to install with the drill bit they included, which is a nice touch. Nothing really complicated, just high quality and high durability. Very satisfied.
