These look like hangers you would get when buying a suit from a high end department store like nordies. They are beautiful to look at, nicely weighted, and heavy and sturdy. They are walnut in color but not sure what the wood is, but it does look solid and of good quality. So much nicer than my tube plastic hangers. My husband, who has more clothes than I do, wanted these hangers for his dress shirts. They are sturdy and made of solid wood. They are walnut-colored, but that's the varnish. The wood isn't walnut. They do have notches for straps like you'd have on a camisole, but since we've used them for the hubby's dress shirts, those notches aren't actually needed. I did give them a look, and it's basically a notch in the wood. The notches aren't finished, and some are rougher than others, so check them before putting a delicate strap in there. I did notice that the end of the hook is blunt, like it's been cut and smoothed instead of the ball you find on high-end hangers. That's more cosmetic in my opinion, and the construction of the hangers is good. Given the quality, I would say this 10 pack of hangers is a fair value for the money. My husband prefers wooden hangers and likes these from Mainetti. They're not super high quality but they're of good value. The wood is solid, not walnut, just walnut colored. The assembly is sturdy and the metal hook can twist as needed. The insets for shoulder straps or clothing hanger loops are not completely smooth but not rough. Just be sure to check them if you're hanging delicate camisoles or silks. The shoulders are nicely angled and smoothed to minimize your lightweight clothing being stretched out of shape. The metal is strong and smoothly finished but the end is cut blunt then rounded off. It's not curved or finished with a ball like higher quality hangers are. The size is comparable to a standard plastic hanger. The brand website is engraved into the underside of the wood. These are well priced for a pack of decent quality shirt hangers. This is a well made set of hangers. I have a lot of plastic hangers and they are just no good for hanging nice shirts because they are so thin. These wooden hangers are sturdy and wide enough to not make a mark in the shoulders of my shirts. Seventeen inches a good length to fit my shirts or coats and I can get them in place through the neck opening. The walnut stain on the hangers is very pretty. The color is uniform. The metal from which it hangs is a tight fit around the bars in my closet. I usually leave the hanger in place on the bar and take the shirts off or put them on without removing it. If I could replace all my plastic hangers with these wooden ones, I would. These are pretty decent. They are good and sturdy and have the indentations for holding clothes on. The hook does swivel which makes putting them into a closet etc a bit easier. The only negative is that the wood is a little rough around the edges and can snag slightly on some fabrics. Most of my wardrobe, I'm able to hang up with standard plastic hangers. My Wife, on the other hand, definitely has some heavy jackets, coats, and other winter outfits. So these worked out perfectly for her. They look very beautiful, first of all. But most important of all, they do exactly what they're supposed to. They're good for heavier clothing items that the basic plastic ones from big box stores simply can't support well. She plans on ordering more, she really likes them. This set of 10 Mainetti wooden hangers are pretty nice; I didn't expect them to have that great of quality wood, well they are! They have a smooth finish on them, it was a surprise to recieve a well made pack of hangers; Packaged well also, with paper in between each one. They are not very thick, but you can still tell they are going to last for sure. The chrome hanger does seem to be tightly secured into the wood as well so that was nice. Overall they are totally worth it in our opinion, we do recommend. These are sharp looking quality made hangers. They seem well built and sturdy that would make excellent replacements for cheap plastic hanger or supplements to your existing closet. These are nice for hanging nicer clothes/formal wear. The wood arms are wide enough to not leave big hanger dents in your shirts or suits. There are notches in each side for securing spaghetti straps on dresses as well. This is a nice set for the price point, and I hihhly recommend them.
