A friend sent me a link to this Cajun genre of music and I must say some of it is hauntingly beautiful. Some of the songs on this album are sung in the Cajun language, which is a mixture of Canadian French and English. Wayne Toups is helping to keep that language alive. One song, in particular New Orleans Woman is beautiful. Some of the reviews on Youtube mentioned this song would be a great song for a wedding or anniversary. I love most music and had never heard any of this genre. Now that I have, I will be purchasing more of his music.
